take into account is that the fuel maps have varying amounts of enrichment that depends on RPM and engine load. So if you install a breather mod that allows the engine to breathe more air at any RPM, it is going to use a higher load value - i.e., it will use map values further to the right. If the enrichment values in the fuel map are the same for the original load value and the new load value being used, the system will still hit the same mixture ratio. However, the general trend in fuel maps is that the higher the load, the more the enrichment for a given RPM, so one would expect to actually see the mixture go richer after a breather mod, not leaner.
